The fellows over at CandyRat are constantly adding video recordings of their artists (a very smart strategy), including recently, duets of Andy Mckee and Don Ross. These artists are incredible enough alone: at the end of any of Andy Mckee’s or Don Ross’ solo performance videos, I am always left in an awe-stricken state with my jaws wide open and my eyes and ears recoiling from ecstasy. Then these two, quite possibly the best acoustic guitarists in the world, were put together. So much musical prowess concentrated in one room, it is almost incomprehensible to me:

I am ceaselessly amazed by fingerstyle guitar. Each time I listen to such artists I fantasize about the idea of abandoning my academic pursuit and playing the guitar as a vocation.
