2008 Spring Season of Anime

The average amount of time I spend on watching anime has dwindled to around ten minutes per day, that is, half an episode per day. I have identified reasons contributing one way or another to this sparse amount of time spent on anime. There were slim pickings from last season, amassing school work that reduces my free time, slow or stalled English fansubs, and a lack of incentive to try out other shows. Maybe the spring season can cure my anime lethargy. After a preliminary check through their (if available) synopses and websites, these are the animes of 2008 spring season that I will try first:

Kamen no Maid Guy – There is a buff guy wearing a maid outfit. I sense some laughs in this.

Toshokan Sensou – Library war? I am interested already.

Kure-nai – Something about a sixteen year old boy protecting the daughter of a powerful family. I liked the trailer. I hope an English fansub group will divert some attention to this title.

  1. Heh, Kure-nai looks neat. Tsundere lolis lol. If anything, Ayu might sub it but enjoy waiting like weeks or months for each episode.

  2. I don’t mind if the fansubs are slow. After all, some subs is better than no subs.
