Moyashimon Returns after episode 11 – Final Thoughts

Well, Moyashimon Returns sadly comes to an end. I thought this second season wasn’t quite as good as the first. For two reasons: one, the father-daughter drama of Hasegawa and Marie in Moyashimon Returns, as feel good as they were, was resolved in an incredibly cheesy and idealistic fashion. Secondly, the first season simply felt fresher, as it was more about character introductions and tidbits of agricultural and microbe information. I had hopes Moyashimon Returns would have more emphasis on agricultural and microbe expositions. Still, the second season is more Moyashimon, and that’s always a good thing.
